CLIA

The objective of the CLIA program is to ensure quality laboratory testing. Although all clinical laboratories must be properly certified to receive Medicare or Medicaid payments, CLIA has no direct Medicare or Medicaid program responsibilities.

Minimizes contamination on all size caps

Removes new, old, small, large and rubber test tube caps. Only Ocap™ offers a safe secure procedure that minimizes test tube damage and contamination.the Ocap™ gripper is made to last and comfortable to use.

Small cap removal and replacement

  1. Use the end on the Ocap™ with two hoels for the small size test tube caps.
  2. Insert the Ocap™ on the cap and gently squeeze, tunring left & right as you easily pull the cap out of the test tube.
  3. Once the cap is removed, it will be secure within the Ocap™.
  4. To replace, simply insert the cap into the tube and release the gripping pressure once it is in place.

 

Large cap removal and replacement

  1. Use the end on the Ocap™ with one large hole for the large size test tube caps.
  2. Insert the Ocap™ on the cap and gently bend it back and forth as you pull the cap out of the test tube.
  3. Once the cap is removed, it will be secure within the Ocap™.
  4. To replace, simply insert the cap into the tube and push, releasing the gripping pressure once it is in place.
